MY Museum Announces The First Annual
Project Dreambuilder At Del Monte Center

Monterey, CA (May 27, 2008) MY Museum announced today that it will hold the First Annual Project Dreambuilder at Del Monte Center located at 1410 Del Monte Center in Monterey from Saturday, September 6th to Saturday, October 18th. Project Dreambuilder will showcase 5 unique child size play homes approximately 100 square feet each built and designed by some of the top architects and contractors in Monterey County.

The builders and designers include Bethel Construction, C.R. Whitney & Sons, DMC Construction, Eric Miller Architects, Hastings Construction, Kitchen Studios, Paul Davis Partnership and Woodman Development to name a few.

“The goal of Project Dreambuilder in addition to raising money for MY Museum is to showcase 5 exquisitely detailed, full furnished, child-size play homes designed, constructed and decorated by a select group of Monterey County’s premium homebuilders,” said Lauren Cohen, Executive Director of MY Museum. “Building teams will donate their time and materials to construct these amazing playhouses.”

MY Museum is a playground for the mind. The museum was developed to provide an environment where curiosity and creativity flourish, while both children and adults learn together through experience. The museum is currently located at 601 Wave Street in Monterey but will move to its new, permanent home at 425 Washington Street in downtown Monterey later this year. The new facility will have 8 Galleries and be home to over 50 exhibits. For more information about MY museum, to purchase tickets for Project Dreambuilder or find out how you can get involved, please contact Lauren Cohen at (831) 649-6444 or Lauren@mymuseum.org.
